Hello,
I am really interested into the Viola sailing canoe.
I wonder what is the average estimated building duration.
Of course, there are some drying periods, etc… but I would like to get an idea if this is something that is affordable for my busy agenda!
thank you,
Hi Olivier,
The very best way to find out is to ask on my facebook group. You can hear direct from other Viola builders.

It is a relatively simple boat. There is not a lot in it, but the reality is that people have other things to do with their lives. From the building so far I think the building rate for weekend works with some weekend nights has been 3 to 5 months. How many hours. Maybe around 200 hours for the hull.
But you will get a better idea from the builders on facebook.
