Here is the Current Rigging List for the Goat Island Skiff.
All parts are Ronstan Part Numbers. Ronstan Brand is available internationally. Clearly it is an impossible job to provide a list that is correct for every country. So here is a strategy …
To translate to other part numbers, So can find the specification by typing in Ronstan and the fitting number to see a picture. Then can compare to what is available on local sites with online orders.
I forgot to add three 150mm screw in hatches because I wanted to clearly mention they must be a type with O-rings built in. We normally glue them in with either a polyurethane sealer or epoxy.
Spectra Ropes – when specifying spectra ropes it means a spectra core with polyester outer. Works better in cleats than pure spectra. For corner lashings need a smaller rope so we strip the outer layer and use the pure spectra core

Getting Sails for the Goat Island Skiff
When I met Edna and moved to the Philippines we saw an opportunity to make and export sails for the GIS. So we started Really Simple Sails.
The Goat Island Skiff sails are available ex stock in the Americas and we have a new agent in France. Order direct for other regions. Very nice price.
We developed the sail shape over 5 generations (sail generations :) ). The sail suits either a laced boom setup or a loose footed setup.
Interested in the Goat Island Skiff Lightweight Sailing Dinghy?
The Goat works extremely well with one to four adults aboard. It has response and acceleration like a good sailing dinghy. The simplified hull makes it easy to build. Light weight (130lbs/58kg) makes it light to build and to transport.
Always a standout in any sailing fleet for looks and sailing performance.
